Why are you seeking to run for school board? Because I want to be a 100% transparent voice for the people of Hillsborough
What is your stance on masks in schools? It should be a parental or individual choice
Should schools offer a virtual option? Absolutely with today's available technology I don't see why it shouldn't nor can't be an option
What other issues do you feel must be tackled in the school district? Transportation of course, overcrowding, air conditioning, water pipes that are safe for usage, mold issues, ensuring advanced math and literacy classes are available, masks should be optional however they absolutely should be removed when outside (gym, recess, waiting for late buses) or hot temperature conditions (no AC in class or hot buses).
What sets you apart from the challenging candidates? We are all humans and want nothing but the best for our children and our children's children. However, my PBA board background along with my contractor experience would bring much value to the school board. Being on the PBA Board allowed me to advocate for my fellow employees and bring issues to the Board to better the work environment. Having contractor experience would allow me to assess the needs of the school buildings to make it a more safe and healthy environment, and understand what steps should be taken to improve the issues at hand.
What else would you like to share about yourself or your campaign? The lack of not listening to the people of Hillsborough (you know the ones that actually pay the absurdly high taxes for the schools) and poor decision making in the past, dramatically impacted the trajectory of our kids' future and the future of our school system. I am not a person to sugar coat anything, hide anything or lie about anything. I may say some things people will not like to hear and I don't care. The reality is people actually need to hear it. I have no skin in any political games so that doesn't affect me one way or another. I only want transparency, clarity and all that is best for the kids and future kids in the school. To build leaders for the future of our world.
