Masked Man Robs Bank, Wanted In Somerset County: Prosecutor
A man reportedly went inside the bank demanding money from multiple bank tellers, according to authorities.

FRANKLIN, NJ — A man is wanted by police for robbing a bank in Somerset County on Monday afternoon, announced Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor and Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather.
On Monday at about 2:08 p.m., Franklin Township Police got a call that a robbery had occurred at the Chase bank located on Route 27 in Franklin Park.
A man reportedly went inside the bank demanding money from multiple bank tellers, said McDonald.

The bank tellers turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the man based on his demands and he fled the bank on a motorcycle, said McDonald.
The male suspect was described as about 5-foot-6-inches tall wearing black shoes, black pants, a black shirt, a black mask, and a black motorcycle helmet and goggles.

Franklin Township Police Officers went to the bank and canvassed the area in search of the suspect. Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit along with detectives from the Franklin Township Police are investigating.
