Montgomery Police Report Making Drug, DWI Arrests
Montgomery Police reported making multiple arrests on charges including drug possession driving while intoxicated, contempt and more.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery Police reported making multiple arrests on charges including drug possession driving while intoxicated, contempt of court and more.
Montgomery Police blotter:
On Dec. 15 at 10:46 a.m.: Montgomery Police stopped a 2016 Volkswagon on Route 206 near Orchard Road for a motor vehicle violation. The officer smelled the odor of raw marijuana, and the driver, Vismar A. Fabian, 27, of Bronx, New York was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested, and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released. Fabian is due to appear in court.

On Dec. 15 at about 11:04 p.m.:Binu Joseph, 48, of Warminster, Pennsylvania was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Joseph was pulled over on Route 206 by Officer Dubovick after another motorist called police to report a reckless driving complaint. Further investigation revealed that Joseph was impaired due to alcohol. He was arrested and processed at Montgomery Township Police Department. Joseph was released pending an appearance in Montgomery Township Municipal Court. He was issued traffic tickets for driving while intoxicated, careless driving, failure to possess a registration card, and failure to maintain a lane.
On Dec. 16 at about 10 p.m.: Sgt. Gray arrested Dalissa Cornejo, 23, of Princeton for possession of drug paraphernalia. Gray stopped Cornejo for operating a vehicle with an equipment violation. During the stop the odor of marijuana was detected and a vehicle search was conducted. Drug paraphernalia was recovered and Cornejo was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. Cornejo was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued two traffic tickets for equipment violations. Cornejo was released pending an appearance in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On Dec. 16 at about 11:15 p.m.: Stanley Lepski 3rd, 32, of Piscataway was arrested for contempt of court and also being a fugitive from the state of Pennsylvania. Officer Dubovick pulled Lepski over on Route 206 for improper passing. During the traffic stop it was determined that Lepski had outstanding municipal court warrants from Edison, Raritan Township, Piscataway, and Clark. A fugitive warrant was located for Lepski from Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania. Lepski was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. Lepski was later transferred to the Somerset County Jail.
On Dec. 10 at 11:26 a.m.: Montgomery Township Police stopped a Ford truck near 206 and Cherry Valley Road for motor vehicle violations. During the stop, the driver, James M. Lyons, 58, of Trenton, was found to have active warrants out of Burlington County Sheriff’s Department and Trenton. He was arrested, and processed at police headquarters before being lodged in Somerset County Jail.
On Dec. 11 at 9:02 a.m.: Montgomery Township Police stopped a GMC Yukon on Vreeland Drive for motor vehicle violations. During the stop, police determined the driver, Dawn St. John, 45, of Hopewell, was intoxicated. St. John was arrested, and processed at police headquarters before she was released. St. John is due to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Dec. 5 at about 4:45 p.m.: Christopher Cuevas, 34, of Kendall Park was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cuevas was operating a motor vehicle on Belle Mead-Griggstown Road when Officer Parlow pulled the vehicle over for equipment violations. During the stop marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle. Cuevas was arrested and transported to the Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. Cuevas was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and issued a traffic ticket for improper tag display. Cuevas was released pending an appearance in the Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
On Dec. 5 at about 7:45 a.m.: Howard Thompson III, 20, of Princeton was arrested for contempt of court. Thompson III was operating a motor vehicle on Belle Mead- Griggstown Road when Officer Parlow pulled the vehicle over for equipment violations. Further investigation revealed Thompson III had an outstanding criminal warrant from Franklin Township Municipal Court. Thompson III was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. Thompson III was unable to post bail and was subsequently turned over to Franklin Township Police Department.
On Dec. 3 at about 1:57 p.m.: A resident of Montgomery Township reported being the victim of a scam. The resident advertised a household item for sale on a cellular phone app called “Offer Up” and received a fraudulent check in the mail as payment. The resident made an electronic transfer to the author of the fraudulent check in the amount of $1,630, and the check was then found to be fraudulent. The resident has suffered a pecuniary loss of $1,630 and the Montgomery Police are conducting a bad check investigation.
On Nov. 18 at about 9:45 p.m.: Shaquan M. Burr, 18, of East Orange was arrested for possession of marijuana in the parking lot of Wawa. Burr was pulled over in the Wawa parking lot by Sgt. Gray for speeding on Route 206. During the motor vehicle stop an odor of raw marijuana was detected which led to a vehicle search and subsequent recovery of suspected marijuana. Burr was arrested and transported to the Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. Burr was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and was issued traffic tickets for speeding, lamp maintenance, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Burr was released pending an appearance in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
