The name Kiki D's may already sound familiar to some as it was a successful Montgomery/Princeton-based special occasion dress shop for more than 15 years.
"When I learned the previous owner decided to retire and was looking for someone to take over the business, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to pick up the mantle," said Kanaby.

She decided to keep the namesake going as the boutique was named after the owner's daughter. Putting her own touches on the business she is bringing it Hillsborough.
"Bringing it to my hometown is very special," said Kanaby.
Kanaby has "always had a passion for fashion" as she graduated in 2018 from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City with degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing Communications. Throughout her time at FIT, Kanaby worked in various shows during New York Fashion Week, and upon graduation, secured a position in L’Oreal’s internship program.
"I want to help people feel as beautiful as they already are," said Kanaby.
The boutique offers prom and evening wear, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, sweet 16 dresses.
"I wanted to also integrate more special occasion type of wear such as really fun, short cocktail dresses for holiday parties, birthday, date nights," said Kanaby.
Small handbags and evening clutches are also offered to complete the look.
Kanaby's goal is to offer an amazing client experience.
"Welcoming them into the store warmly, offering any type of help they need to select a style that will work best for them, offering an ultra-elevated experience," said Kanaby.
Kanaby is striving for a "one-stop shop ultimate destination."
"Overall I really feel like a special event deserves an extra special dress and that starts with a special and unique experience," said Kanaby.
