New Montgomery Municpal Headquarters And Library Unveiled Thursday, Office Closing Early
The opening ceremony for the township's first new municipal headquarters and a new Somerset County library branch is at 3 p.m. Thursday.
MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Most Montgomery Township municipal offices will close early Thursday to officially open the new township headquarters and Somerset County Library Branch.
Public Safety will remain open, but all other departments will close at 2:30 p.m. on June 16, the township said.
The opening ceremony for the township's first new municipal headquarters and the library is at 3 p.m. The new building is 100 Community Drive in Skillman, off of Orchard Road.

Honored guests will speak, and there will be a ribbon cutting to unveil the township's new office home.
After that, there will be tours of the library and new municipal offices from 4-7 p.m., the township said. Refreshments will be in the lobby, and all are welcome.

The Township will move to its new location the week of June 19; on Friday, employees will be at the "soon-to-be former location" at 2261 Route 206 in Belle Mead on Friday at 8 a.m.
