New Traffic Light Being Installed At Hillsborough Intersection

Construction on the new light is anticipated to be completed by Spring.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A new traffic signal is being installed in Hillsborough due to increased traffic in the area.

The new traffic signal is being installed at the intersection of Falcon and Sunnymead Roads, according to the Hillsborough Engineering Department.

Committeeperson Doug Tomson said, at the Jan. 25 meeting, the light was part of the requirement with the Gateway development project due to increased traffic on that site.

The approved plans are to have this traffic signal installed as soon as possible. The contractor started at the end of January and it is anticipated to be completed by Spring.
