Ordinance Removing Warehouse Use To Be Finalized In Hillsborough

The township will also be introducing its Municipal Budget for 2023 on Tuesday.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The week of June 12 is set to be a busy one in Hillsborough Township with multiple meetings planned.

School Board

The Hillsborough Township Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Auten Road Intermediate School cafeteria, 281 Auten Road. On the agenda is a presentation of the Student Data Safety System reporting any violence, vandalism, weapons, and HIB confirmations for September through December 2022. Additionally there is a presentation the Gifted and Talented Services.

Township Committee

The Township Committee is set to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the municipal building, 379 S Branch Road, Hillsborough. On the agenda is a second and final reading of an ordinance removing warehousing, and shipping and receiving facilities as a principal permitted use in the I-1, I-2, and I-3 Light Industrial Districts, GI General Industrial District, and LI Light Industrial District.

The Township Committee will also be introducing the 2023 Municipal Budget and setting the public hearing for July 18.
