Hillsborough Girl Scouts Offer Sensory Training To Local Restaurants (patch.com) — Hillsborough Girl Scout Troop 60561 is working toward their Gold Awards by training local restaurants to better support diners with sensory issues. After partnering with Applebee's, Old Man Rafferty's, and filming at Petrock's, the scouts hope more Hillsborough eateries will invite them in for staff training and bravery bags to make dining out more comfortable for everyone.
   

2. Norz Hill Farm's Scare Farm to close after final Halloween (mycentraljersey.com) — Hillsborough's Norz Hill Farm is preparing to host its final season of Scare Farm, the long‑running haunted attraction that's drawn Halloween fans for two decades. Owners say the working farm's demands have grown too heavy, so this year's weekend nighttime hayrides and walking trails through Nov. 1 are the last chance to experience the scares.
   

3. Somerset Valley Players present Agatha Christie's "Go Back for Murder" (newjerseystage.com) — Hillsborough theater fans can catch Somerset Valley Players' production of Agatha Christie's "Go Back for Murder" from October 23 to November 8 at 689 Amwell Road. Weekend evening and Sunday matinee performances bring a twisty, classic Christie mystery to the local stage, with tickets available online for this community production.
   

4. Alien world chemistry found inside meteorite that struck New Jersey home (scientificinquirer.com) — A Hillsborough home that was struck by a meteorite in 2024 has now yielded some of the most pristine samples of a rare asteroid type ever studied, packed with salts and organic molecules. Scientists say the fragments, carefully preserved by the homeowner, are helping reveal how space rocks may have delivered ingredients for life to early Earth.
