Photos Released Of Truck In Hit-And-Run Of Pedestrian On Route 206 In Montgomery
A woman was hit while crossing Route 206 on March 6. Authorities are asking for the public's help to find the truck wanted for questioning.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery Township Police released images of the pick-up truck believed to be connected to a hit-and-run of a pedestrian on Route 206 last week.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a pick-up truck that was spotted in the area near Starbucks near the time of the crash at 7:59 p.m. on March 6.
Images show a pick-up truck, possibly a Dodge RAM (2nd generation, model year 1994-2002), darker in color, with a snowplow, snowplow lighting, amber roof cab lights, and chrome sideview mirrors, said police.

Isis Birt, 20, of Skillman was crossing Route 206 mid-block from the northbound side to the southbound side of the road when she was hit by a passing vehicle, according to a preliminary investigation. Read More: Pedestrian Injured In Montgomery Hit-And-Run, Police Seek Witnesses
The vehicle continued southbound on Route 206 without stopping. Birt was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-New Brunswick for her injuries.

Police are asking for help with identifying the driver of the pick-up, who may have information that could help with the investigation.
