PTO Treasurer Stole Funds From South Bound Brook School: Cops
Renee Wilson, 35, of Elizabeth Street in South Bound Brook stole and misused the funds, a police investigation found.

SOUTH BOUND BROOK, NJ — A South Bound Brook Parent Teacher Organization Treasurer was arrested for stealing money from the organization’s financial accounts, authorities said Tuesday.
Renee Wilson, 35, of Elizabeth Street in South Bound Brook was charged with one count of third-degree theft.
The PTO reported noticing irregularities in the organization’s financial accounts and reported it to the South Bound Brook Police Department. An investigation with the help of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office found that money was stolen and misused by Willson, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.

Willson turned herself into police on Monday. She has been released on her own recognizance. Additional charges maybe pending.
