Road Work Expected Next Few Weeks In Hillsborough, Millstone

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — As part of Somerset County's 2020 Road Resurfacing Project, construction will begin on several Hillsborough and Millstone roadways Friday.

From Friday through Wednesday, crack sealing will take place on (CR533) Millstone River Road from Blackwells Mills Causeway to Main Street/Somerset Courthouse Road. Work will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a single lane closure from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

New Centre Road (CR627) in Hillsborough will also be repaved from Auten Road to Beekman Lane on Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Millstone Borough will also be repaving multiple roads from Oct. 23 to Oct. 26 with work being done 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The roads include:

• Colonial Road from Amwell Road to Yorktown Road,
• North River from Millstone River Rd to Amwell Rd,
• South River from Millstone River Rd to Amwell Rd,
• Alley Way from Amwell Rd to Ann Street
