Route 206 Reopens Following Downed Power Lines
Downed poles and wires continue to be reported throughout out Hillsborough and Montgomery causing road closures Friday morning.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Route 206 has reopened as of 9:15 a.m. following downed power lines Friday morning after a severe wind storm that ripped through the area around midnight.
A tornado warning was issued in Middlesex, Somerset, Mercer and Hunterdon counties on Friday morning. A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued nearly across the state.
Route 206 had been closed in both directions between Dukes Parkway West and Dukes Parkway East since 6 a.m. Friday. It has since reopened.

Multiple roads are also closed in Montgomery due to wires down from the storm.
Burnt Hill Road is closed between Route 518 and Skillman Park. The closure is expected to last through the morning.

Dutchtown Zion Road was closed and has since reopened in Montgomery in the area of 297-315 following downed wires.
JCP&L and PSE&G are also reporting outages in Hillsborough and Montgomery. A total of 100 Hillsborough residents are without power and fewer than 5 in Montgomery, as of 4:15 p.m.
