Fatal Motorcycle Vs. Car Crash Shuts Down Route 202 In Branchburg

BRANCHBURG, NJ — A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle has caused all lanes on Route 202 North to close in Branchburg on Wednesday. The highway remains closed as of 4:30 p.m.

The crash is located on the northbound side on the border of Branchburg and Readington just south of County Route 629/Pleasant Run Road.

Branchburg Police Captain Edward Edgar confirmed officers are currently on the scene.

The New Jersey State Department of Transportation is helping with traffic diversion, and there is no ETA as to when the highway will be re-opened.
