Second Patient Says Somerset Gynecologist Sexually Assaulted Her

More charges were filed against Dr. Chike J. Aguh​ after a​ second patient has come forward saying he sexually assaulted her.

SOMERSET, NJ — More charges were filed against a Somerset County gynecologist after a second patient has come forward saying he sexually assaulted her, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.

Dr. Chike J. Aguh, 64, of Mulberry Court, in Belle Mead has been with second-degree sexual assault and two counts of fourth-degree sexual contact. Aguh was initially charged this past Thursday. Read More: Somerset County Gynecologist Charged With Sex Assault Of Patient

Both women said they were sexually assaulted by Aguh while at an appointment at his practice in the Somerset section of Franklin Township, said Robertson.

One woman said the assault occurred in 2019 and another reported it on Jan. 12, 2021.

Aguh was been taken to the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Anyone with information relating to the sexual assault is asked to contact the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Sex Crimes Unit Detective Kutepow at 908-231-7100. All calls will be kept confidential or via the STOPit app.
