Possible Coronavirus Cases Linked To Hillsborough Gym: Officials
Hillsborough issued a health advisory Friday after several instances of probable positive COVID-19 cases were discovered in the township.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Mayor Doug Tomson issued a health advisory on Friday after several possible positive coronavirus cases were linked to a township gym.
The initial case was traced back to DC Gymnastics at 3 Jill Ct., Tomson said.
Those people who were possibly exposed may be either asymptomatic or have very mild symptoms. And those who have tested positive have also had contacts across other community activities, Tomson said.

"Our Health Team is taking all the necessary precautions to protect our community," said Tomson.
The Hillsborough Township health officer and her team are contacting people who may have been in contact with the cases to conduct contact tracing. If a resident receives a call from Hillsborough Township Health Department regarding their activities, they are asked to return the call promptly.

If a resident has tested positive or if they get a call from someone who has tested positive, they are asked to contact the Hillsborough Township Health Department immediately at 908-369-5652, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., or email during non-business hours to sspano@hillsborough-nj.org.
"It is imperative that you provide accurate and complete information to our contact tracers so that we can protect all of our residents," stated Hillsborough Township Health Officer Siobhan Spano.
As of Thursday, Hillsborough is reporting a total of 554 positive coronavirus cases and 76 deaths.
