Somerset Man ID'd As Driver In Fatal Head-On Crash In Franklin Township
The two vehicle crash was reported on Tuesday morning and remains under investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.
FRANKLIN, NJ — A Somerset man was identified as the driver killed in a head-on crash in Franklin Township on Tuesday.
Alex Folnagy, 31, of Somerset, was identified as the fatal victim, announced Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald on Wednesday.
On Oct. 15 at 7:24 a.m., a 911 call reported a head-on motor vehicle crash on Amwell Road near South Middlebush Road in Franklin, said McDonald.

Folnagy, was identified as the driver and sole occupant of a 2010 white Nissan Altima. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the 2018 red Jeep Wrangler sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The factors that contributed to the crash are currently under investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team and the Franklin Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau.
