Mitey Mites
The Mitey Mites competed against the Crusaders of Clark on Sunday. After a tense defensive struggle last week the Dukes offense was back to work this week. The Dukes put together 5 touchdowns this week, with offense contributing 4. Jeremy Martino, Jack O’Donnell, Chris Spinelli and Stephen Dowe found the endzone for the offense, while Martino added a touchdown on Special Teams after recovering a fumble. Donoven Nicolas added two conversions, while Spinelli and Justin Lebron each had one. Special recognition goes to the Dukes' offensive lines who provided fantastic protection and opened scoring lanes.
The defense held Clark to a single TD in the second quarter. Their efforts were helped by long kick-offs by Luke Moleski with led the team to win the field position battle.
