HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The week of Oct. 9 is set to be a busy one in Hillsborough Township with multiple meetings planned.
School Board
The Hillsborough Township Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday at the Auten Road Intermediate School cafeteria, 281 Auten Road. On the agenda is a presentation of the 2022-2023 District and Board Goals and another presentation of the new Social Studies Curriculum.

Township Committee
The Township Committee is set to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the municipal building, 379 S Branch Road, Hillsborough. On the agenda is an "Ordinance Amending the Zoning Map of The Township of Hillsborough, Somerset County, New Jersey, to Change the Zone Designation for Certain Lots From CDZ Corporate Development and/or O-5 Office/Research to R Residential and/or RA Residential/Agricultural."

There is also an"Ordinance Amending Chapter 188 “Land Use and Development”, Article I “Title; Purpose; Definitions”, Section 188-3 “Words and Terms Defined” and Article V “Districts and Standards”, Section 188-107.1 “LI Light Industrial District”, of the Code of the Township of Hillsborough, Somerset County, New Jersey."
The public is able to comment on both ordinances prior to the committee vote.
Planning Board
The Hillsborough Township Planning Board is set to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Courtroom of the Municipal Complex, The Peter J. Biondi Building. On the agenda is an application by Redcom / SAI "seeking preliminary and final major site plan approval, ‘c’ bulk variances, and waivers, to construct a 107,366 square foot warehouse and associated improvements, at the end of Harvard Way, on Property in the I-3, Light Industrial Zone."
