Widespread searches continue for at least five New Jersey people who have gone missing in recent weeks.
Widespread searches are underway for at least five people who have gone missing in New Jersey over the past few weeks.
The missing people are from all areas of the state, including a Hunterdon County teen who was last seen on his skateboard and a 68-year-old man who was last seen driving his red GMC Envoy.

- Friends and family have taken to Facebook to let people know that police in Woodbridge and Bayonne have been searching for Jessica Stevenson, 27, who has not been seen since she left her home a week ago.
Stevenson, of Woodbridge, is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds and has blue eyes. Police and family members were not able to immediately say what she was wearing.

- Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Nutley resident, township officials announced Thursday evening.
Nutley police said that Richard Shepard, 68, was last seen Wednesday, March 29 at 10 a.m. He was driving a red 2006 GMC Envoy with New Jersey registration 2811BB.
Authorities described Shepard as a white male about 5 feet 11 inches and 160 pounds with gray hair.

- Two boys have been reported missing out of the Lakeland section of Gloucester Township in separate incidents, police said Thursday afternoon.
Jaquan Parker, 16, (pictured below) was reported missing on March 24. He is described as a 5-foot-10-inch black boy with a thin build, brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and red pants.

- A widespread search is on for a 17-year-old Raritan Township youth who left on his skateboard, according to officials.
Chase Merone, a student at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, has not been seen since early Wednesday morning after he had an argument with his family about homework, according to the Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce.

His father, Jonathan Merone, urged his son to come home or contact him as soon as possible and said he won't face any punishment. "We just want to know that he's safe," his father told nj.com Thursday afternoon. "He's not in trouble."
Chase Merone was last seen at the Wawa store on Route 31 at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday on a surveillance camera, according to his father.
