Parlance Chamber Concerts launches its 19th season with two astonishing masterpieces written by Mozart and Schubert when they were just 19 years old: Mozart’s beloved “Turkish” Violin Concerto and Schubert’s Mozart-inspired Symphony No. 5.
Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Concertmaster Benjamin Bowman, praised by The New York Times for his “beautifully singing eloquence,” joins Members of the Met Orchestra under the direction of Parlance Artistic Director Michael Parloff. Together, they reveal the youthful freshness, lyricism, and astounding artistic maturity that announced the arrival of two of music’s greatest creative voices.

Mark your calendar for the Ridgewood Fall Craft &amp; Art Street Fair, a fun family-friendly event on Sunday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. located on East Ridgewood Ave. in downtown Ridgewood, NJ. Each year thousands attend this once-a-year street fair from near and far. Two hundred exhibitors from four states will be highlighting arts, crafts, and photography. You are sure to find the perfect gift or something special for yourself at this vibrant outdoor event. Discover one-of-a-kind hand-crafted items, ranging from jewelry and art to pottery, stain glass, mixed media, woodwork, garden items, apparel, photography, home decor and so much more. 
A large food court will be set up in front of the park with a variety of delicious festival foods featuring fish, sausage and peppers, gyros, empanadas, steak sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, kebobs, zeppole, desserts and so much more. 
A large area dedicated to children's entertainment will feature a variety of inflatables, face painting, games, and items specifically catered to young attendees will be located on Walnut Street and in the park. Live music will be played near the food court. This is an unforgettable fun and exciting event you do not want to miss. We are back for the fall season at picturesque Veterans Park located on Broadway and 3rd Ave. in Westwood, NJ. The Harvestfest Craft Fair &amp; Antique &amp; Gift Corner held on Sunday, October 4, from 10 to 5 features one hundred &amp; twenty-five talented exhibitors, from three states, with art &amp; crafts and an area with antiques &amp; collectibles and gifts. This is the perfect opportunity to plan a fun day out to enjoy a fall day at this perfect shopping event.
The show features a wide variety of gift-giving items for everyone in the family or a special purchase for yourself. At the art &amp; craft area you can browse through stained glass, train station prints, jewelry, fiber, woodyard signs, apparel, hair accessories, bonsai, resin art, Halloween, holiday items, quilts, photography, florals, pottery, ceramics, and pet &amp; kid’s items. Bergen County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is the only nonprofit in the county that recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system. These Advocates visit regularly, monitor well-being, and advocate in court for children’s medical, educational, and emotional needs—helping them heal and thrive.
