2 Stabbings In Hudson County; Jersey City Man Dies: Prosecutor
No arrests have been made in connection with the Hudson County stabbings, prosecutors said.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A double stabbing in Hudson County left a man dead and another wounded on Wednesday, authorities say.
According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, Jersey City police responded to area of Martin Luther King Drive and Orient Avenue around 9:30 a.m. after receiving a report of an injured victim. On arrival, the officers found a male victim lying on the ground in front of 73 Orient Avenue with apparent stab wounds to his torso.
Emergency responders transported the victim, later identified as Richard Farmer, 25, of Jersey City, to the Jersey City Medical Center. He was pronounced dead shortly after 10 a.m., prosecutors said.

During the investigation, officers located a second male victim in the vicinity who also suffered from apparent stab wounds to his torso and upper extremities. He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he received treatment for his injuries and was released, prosecutors said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbings, prosecutors stated Thursday.
