Siryania Albino-Defernandez, a mother from Union City, was killed in a fatal crash in Woodbridge, Connecticut.

A GoFundMe fundraiser was created by Siryania's sister-in-law Julissa to honor her memory, cover her final expenses, and support her family. Julissa wrote, "Siryania was not only my sister in law, she was the sister I never had. Siryania was a good wife, mother, and a hard working woman and always achieved her purpose."

In an update posted today, Julissa shared that the children who were injured are "out of any danger, and are the way to recovery," and she thanked everyone for the words of encouragement.
