3 Drug Arrests And 2 DWI Charges In Hoboken Police Reports
The Hoboken police released information on five arrests in the past two weeks, three involving drugs and two for DWI.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Five people were arrested by the Hoboken police in the last two weeks on offenses related to drugs or driving while intoxicated.
Drugs In Vacant Building
A 44-year-old Jersey City man was arrested on burglary and heroin possession charges near Third Street and Park Avenue in Hoboken about 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, police said.

Hoboken police found the 44-year-old inside a vacant building and took him to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, officials said.
Arrested After Shoplifting; Had 8 Warrants

A 34-year-old Hoboken woman was arrested on shoplifting and drug paraphernalia charges near Washington and Third streets about 5:50 p.m. on Dec. 2, police said.
Hoboken police had been looking for a reported shoplifter on the 200 block of Washington Street for about an hour and a half when they arrested her, officials said.
The woman also had four Failure to Appear warrants, three municipal warrants, and one Hudson County warrant, police said. She was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
Two Drug Charges
A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of phencyclidine (PCP), drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest near Marshall Drive and Fourth Street on Dec. 4 about 1:35 p.m., police said. He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
DWI Near Train Station
A 22-year-old Union City woman on Dec. 3 on Hudson Place and Hudson Street, near the train station, f. She was stopped by Hoboken police at 1:36 a.m. for driving the wrong way on a one-way on Hudson Place, police said.
During the on-scene investigation, it was determined that she was unable to safely operate a motor vehicle and was placed under arrest for DWI. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving and driving the wrong way on a one-way street, and released to a responsible party.
DWI On Washington Street
A 30-year-old Hoboken man was arrested at 4:55 a.m. on Washington St. and charged with DWI.
Police responded to the area of 1213 Washington St. on a complaint of loud music coming from a parked vehicle. During the on-scene investigation, it was determined that the man would be arrested for DWI. He also received a motor vehicle summons for refusal to submit to chemical testing. He was released to a responsible party.
