3 Teens Charged After Fatal Stabbing Of Hudson County 15-Year-Old: Prosecutors

Two Jersey City teens were charged with robbery and a Union City teen was charged with a drug offense in connection with a fatal stabbing.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Three Hudson County teens were arrested after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Union City Tuesday night, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said Friday. One teen was charged with drug and weapons offenses, while the other two were charged with armed robbery, prosecutors said.

Allen Flores, 15, died of stab wounds after a fight broke out among five teens on 40th Street and New York Avenue in Union City about 6:25 p.m. Tuesday night, prosecutors said.

Another Union City teen, 16, was stabbed and remains hospitalized at Jersey City Medical Center with "serious" injuries, prosecutors said.

One 16-year-old boy has been charged with possession of a knife while committing a CDS (controlled dangerous substance) offense, unlawful possession of a weapon (knife), and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, said prosecutors.

A girl and boy from Jersey City, both 15, have been charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon (bat) and possession of a weapon (bat) for an unlawful purpose, according to prosecutors.

Prosecutors did not release the teens' names because they are minors, but noted more charges may be imminent.

"A preliminary investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit determined
five juveniles were involved in an altercation prior to two of the juveniles being stabbed," they said.

"Juvenile matters are confidential and no additional information can be released at this time.
Additional arrests and charges may be forthcoming."

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Union City Police Department are
investigating the case.
