After Fatal Hit-And-Run In Hudson County Friday, Prosecutors Seek Help
A man was killed in Jersey City on Friday night, and the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is seeking information about the driver.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — After a man was struck and killed by a car in Jersey City on Friday night, prosecutors are seeking the public's help to identify the driver.
Mumtaz Chaudhry, 85, of Jersey City was hit in the area of Fairmount Avenue and Summit Avenue around 6:45 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
The collision was one of several fatal car crashes in North Jersey Friday night into early Saturday morning, including one around 7 p.m. that killed a woman in Bloomfield, and a crash around 2 a.m. Saturday morning in Teaneck which two passengers died.

Prosecutors said that a preliminary investigation determined that the Toyota Siena pictured above may have been the one that struck the man in Jersey City.
The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department
