Hoboken Planning Board To Hear Application For Alfalfa Restaurant Downtown
The Hoboken Planning Board is set to hear an application for Alfalfa restaurant to open a downtown location at the former Sobsey's grocery.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken Planning Board will hear an application next week for the Alfalfa salad restaurant, located in uptown Hoboken, to open another location at the site of the former Sobsey's and Ma's Gourmet grocery stores in downtown Hoboken.
Alfalfa, known for its salads, wraps, and donuts, has locations in California, as well as at the former Schnackenberg's Luncheonette in uptown Hoboken, and in Jersey City.
As with Schackenberg's, they are hoping to take over another space that held a longtime business.
