HOBOKEN, NJ — Who doesn't want more restaurant choices? Two restaurants opened this week on Hoboken's main street, Washington Street, and a third is celebrating an anniversary this weekend.
On Friday, Pokemoto planned to open at 219 Washington St. The restaurant held a preview Thursday night.
The new eatery, a six-block walk from the Hoboken train terminal, serves up Hawaiian poke bowls with fresh ingredients and sauces. Ingredients include salmon, shrimp, chicken, rice, and a host of fruits and vegetables.
This past Tuesday, Jerrell's Betr Brgr opened across the street from Pokemoto and one block up, at 324 Washington St. The vegan eatery is the second fast casual restaurant for owner Jerrell Obee, who has a location in SoHo.
Meanwhile, Cafe Uni Bread at 519 Washington St. celebrated its second anniversary this week.
They're offering a special: buy two buns, get one free. The deal runs through March 26.
