• PATH launches enhanced weekend service with more direct trains from Journal Square, Hoboken (binje.com) — Hoboken riders now get more frequent, direct PATH trains on weekends, including restored Hoboken–World Trade Center and Hoboken–33rd Street service between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. The Port Authority’s PATH Forward upgrades also improved the Hoboken station itself and introduced new TAPP Card pass options, while late-night and weekday rush-hour service has been boosted for commuters relying on Hoboken connections.    

• Boys Volleyball: Hoboken Wins Hudson County Tournament over Kearny (tapinto.net) — Hoboken High School’s boys volleyball team just captured its first-ever Hudson County Tournament title, edging Kearny 2–1 in Friday night’s championship at New Jersey City University. Led by standout performances from Jack Jennings and Gabriel Brody, Hoboken dominated the decisive third set 25–14 to finish the night with a strong 18–4 season record.
