HOBOKEN, NJ — Two small New York restaurant chains are expanding to Hoboken, and one hopes to open next month.
OddFellows ice cream and Atomic Wings have both placed signage in Hoboken.
As reported first in Patch, the Atomic Wings chain, based in New York, plans to open six stores in New Jersey — with its first two in Hoboken and Jersey City.
This week, signage for the Hoboken location appeared at 410 Washington St., the former home of 7th Street Burger, which moved down the street into larger digs at 112 Washington St.
A spokesperson told Patch on Wednesday that the wing chain is still expected to open in the third quarter of this year, so look for it in fall.
Meanwhile, OddFellows Ice Cream, which just opened a location in Montclair, posted signage on First Street in Hoboken, between Pickle Joy and Artichoke Pizza, to say they're coming soon.
A staffer at a neighboring business said the store is aiming to open on July 2.
They'll be located at 53 First St.
What's Closing?
Meanwhile, a popular Hoboken restaurant, Johnny Pepperoni pizza, will be closing after this month, according to a report. Read about that here.
