Flash Flooding Possible In Hoboken Thursday: See Timing

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for Hudson County for Thursday, with heavy rain possible in the evening, the National Weather Service said.

The NWS said showers and possibly a thunderstorm are possible after 2 p.m.

"A cold front will slowly approach and move through the area Thursday into Thursday night," the outlook says. "There is potential for isolated to scattered instances of flash flooding, with rain rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour possible during this time frame."

Hoboken will reach high tide at 3:52 a.m. on Friday.
