Local and regional artists can submit proposals that reflect Hoboken's history and resiliency story by Nov. 30, with the final design reviewed publicly by residents and the City Council.

Hoboken hit-and-run sparks calls for traffic crackdown (abc7ny.com) β Hoboken police are asking residents for tips to find the driver who seriously injured a 39-year-old woman at 15th and Hudson and then fled the scene. Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher says the case highlights widespread fears about drivers ignoring stop signs at city intersections, and officials urge anyone with information about the dark-colored SUV to contact police.
