Hoboken High School And 2 Other Schools Under Lockdown, Streets Closed: Officials (patch.com) — A phoned-in threat triggered lockdowns at Hoboken High School and two elementary schools Thursday afternoon, along with street closures from Seventh to Tenth and Willow to Adams. Police searched and cleared the high school, allowing after-school activities and the homecoming football game to proceed, and officials say all Hoboken schools will reopen on schedule Friday.
   

2. Hoboken Seeks Artist for Interactive Sculpture at 800 Monroe Resiliency Park (TAPinto.net) — Hoboken is looking for an artist to design an interactive sculpture for the future 800 Monroe Resiliency Park, a flood-mitigating green space with courts, lawns, and gardens. Local and regional artists can submit proposals that reflect Hoboken's history and resiliency story by Nov. 30, with the final design reviewed publicly by residents and the City Council.
   

3. Hoboken hit-and-run sparks calls for traffic crackdown (abc7ny.com) — Hoboken police are asking residents for tips to find the driver who seriously injured a 39-year-old woman at 15th and Hudson and then fled the scene. Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher says the case highlights widespread fears about drivers ignoring stop signs at city intersections, and officials urge anyone with information about the dark-colored SUV to contact police.
   

4. Hackensack Meridian Health and Stevens Institute of Technology to collaborate on research (roi-nj.com) — Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken is deepening its long-running partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health to collaborate on advanced health care research. The agreement will create visiting research appointments and combine Stevens' engineering and AI strengths with HMH's clinical reach, potentially bringing cutting-edge medical innovation closer to local patients and students.
   

5. Hoboken Activists Call for Public Webcams at Newark Airport (TAPinto.net) — A Hoboken-based group, Hoboken Resist, is pressing the Port Authority to install public webcams and publish detailed flight logs for federal immigration enforcement flights at Newark Liberty International Airport. After a recent rally, organizers say they've gathered hundreds of signatures and support from state lawmakers as they push for more transparency and safeguards for detainees and their families.
