Baby And 2 Adults Rescued From Flooding Near Hoboken/Jersey City Border
Three firefighters were able to pull two adults and a baby out of their stuck vehicle near the Hoboken/Jersey City border on a rainy night.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — No matter how many times officials warn drivers to "turn around, don't drown" during floods, the water can rise rapidly, surprising drivers and trapping them in their cars. (And without a barricade, they sometimes drive far on a one-way street, making it difficult to back up, as with this NJ Transit bus.)
During the last few years of severe rainstorms, several people had to be rescued from cars that stopped in flooded Hudson County streets, inspiring Hoboken to recently post automatic flood gates to be lowered during future storms. VIDEO: Man Rescued From Hoboken Flood
And in California this year, a boy drowned in a flash flood in California as his mom took him to school.

Rubin added, "The family was connected with a tow truck. No injuries were reported."
That area is the southwestern corner of town, near the Jersey City border, one of the lowest lying areas in town.
