Brooklyn Man Charged With Stalking In Hoboken

A Brooklyn man has been charged with stalking after a Hoboken resident alerted police.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Brooklyn man was arrested in Hoboken on March 19 and charged with stalking, police said.

Police said that on that Tuesday morning, around 9:30 a.m. Sgt. Adam Colon was on Newark Street, not far from the waterfront, when a bystander told him that a man was verbally abusing a woman.

The woman said she became alarmed when he said, “I caught you again," police said.

"The man only walked away when the woman’s husband approached him," according to police.

The man was unknown to the victim but had previously threatened to harm her, police said.

Officers Christopher Hatfield and Joseph DiMartino observed a man who fit the description on the 400 block of Washington Street, police said.

He was later identified as 30-year-old Glenn Harris of Brooklyn.

Police discovered that Harris had two active warrants, one from Hudson County for aggravated assault, and one from Hoboken for criminal mischief, police said.

Harris was taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with stalking. He was then taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
