HOBOKEN, NJ — There’s good news for Hudson County French pastry fans. Choc-O-Pain Bakery & Café - which recently opened a new facility in Jersey City – plans on opening a new café in Hoboken’s “growing uptown area” by the end of 2017, its owners stated.
The restaurant opened its first location in Hoboken in 2012. Its newest facility is the 3,900-square foot commissary bakery kitchen with café and retail boutique at 330-332 Palisade Avenue in Jersey City.
Almost all the café’s baking and food preparation will soon be moved to the Jersey City facility, which boasts a modern kitchen featuring a pastry room with a larger sheeter, mixer, retarder, proofer and rack oven for improved efficiency, the company recently announced.
