Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken launched the COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program to assist residents facing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is a residential rental assistance program designed to provide relief for low-to-moderate income households of individuals and families residing in Hoboken that were unable to pay rent for any months between April 1, 2020 through October 31, 2021, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Applicants that meet the program criteria are eligible to apply. Qualifying individuals and families can request up to $5,000 per household. All payments made on behalf of the applicant will be paid directly to the landlord. Funds will be in the form of a grant that does not need to be repaid. The City is accepting application submission through 11:59 PM on Monday, November 29, 2021.
