Hoboken Moms To Relaunch Shuttered Hotspot With New Look

HOBOKEN, NJ — Reports of the death of a popular kids' accessory store on Washington Street in Hoboken are greatly exaggerated.

While the owner of Hoboken Clique announced last month that the store would close, it will now reopen under new ownership, possibly with more events, two social media posts said.

"Hoboken Clique has been the premiere destination for apparel and accessories, successfully run thanks to the dedicated efforts of previous owners including Morgan Davies," said a post on Friday. "To preserve this Mile Square hotspot, Hoboken moms and new owners Nicole Hamilton and Dara Warjanka are proud to announce the forthcoming relaunch of Hoboken Clique.

"A transformative rebranding will provide loyal customers with the quality merchandise and
product customization that has made Hoboken Clique a closet staple, while the expansion of trend driven services and private parties will create unique boutique experiences.

"Shop doors will temporarily close as we design and execute our vision and a grand reopening is planned for January."

A new post on Tuesday from another Hoboken business owner said, "As a small business owner, I’ve learned that there are three kinds of support you get from people. There are people who wish you well from afar, there are people who cheer you on from the sidelines, and then there are people who run along side you, helping you get to the finish line.

"This gal is the latter. She has shown up, shopped, ordered and supported ... I’m honored, excited,
thrilled and so so so proud to be able to show her the same support she has shown me. Nicole is the new owner of @hobokenclique and I can’t wait to see how she reinvents the space and theexperience."
