Cocaine, Gun, $20K Cash Found In Hudson County Drug Probe; 2 Men Charged
Two men were charged with 26 drug and weapons offenses in Jersey City after drugs and a gun were found in a probe, prosecutors say
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Two men were charged with 26 drug and weapons offenses Friday after investigators seized a handgun, two high capacity magazines, cocaine, marijuana, and more than $20,000 cash in a Jersey City narcotics probe, prosecutors say.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said that during an investigation, they found 170 grams of cocaine with a street value of over $7,000, more than four pounds of marijuana with a street value of over $8,000, various prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash.
Talha Khan, 27, of Jersey City, and Hameem Khan, 21, of Rosendale, N.Y., were arrested after a court authorized search warrant was executed at an apartment at 159 Mallory Ave. on Jersey City's west side on Wednesday, prosecutors say.

Both men received the same charges, including: Possession with the intent to distribute (cocaine), possession of a firearm while in possession with the intent to distribute (cocaine), possession of a prohibited weapon, and similar charges related to marijuana, heroin, Vynanse, Xanax, and endocet.
Prosecutor Esther Suarez credited the Narcotics Task Force with the investigation and thanked the Hudson County Regional SWAT Team for its assistance in the arrests.
