COVID In Hoboken: See New Case And Hospitalization Numbers, Vaccination Rates
With most of Hoboken vaccinated, dozens are testing positive for COVID-19 but not as many are hospitalized, the city said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Ninety-five percent of Hoboken residents of all ages have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine, the city said in an update this week. Hospitalization rates have dropped drastically since January, but residents continue to test positive for various COVID variants.
Hoboken University Medical Center is currently treating two people with COVID-19, the city said. Neither is a resident of Hoboken.
This is a steep decline from mid-January, when the hospital was treating 40 patients who tested positive for COVID. The rapidly-spreading omicron variant had ramped up over the holidays, officials said.
