Hoboken Loses 2 More Residents To COVID-19

The city also said four Hoboken residents are hospitalized with COVID and gave their vaccination status in a weekly update.

HOBOKEN, NJ — As COVID case numbers continue to decline in Hoboken since the start of the year, the city confirmed two more resident deaths from COVID and gave an update on hospitalizations.

"Hoboken lost another two individuals to COVID-19," Mayor Ravi Bhalla reported over the weekend, "a man in his 60s and a woman in her 90s. I send my condolences and prayers to their families and loved ones."

One of the fatalities was in February, the mayor's spokesperson said, and one was a delayed report from last month.

"Please note, some of the above cases are the result of delayed reporting," he noted.
