Drag Queen Story Hour Returns To Jersey City And Hoboken This Weekend

For Hudson County Pride Month, Harmonica Sunbeam will read in Jersey City on Saturday.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Kids who love a colorful story (and a colorful reader) will again be entertained this weekend in Hudson County when Harmonica Sunbeam reads children's books in two "Drag Queen Story Hour" events.

The first event was scheduled for Shipyard Park in Hoboken at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19. Find out about other Hoboken Library events here.

Then, Sunbeam's reading (and singing) rays will spread over Jersey City during Drag Queen Story hour at noon on Saturday, Aug. 20 at Hamilton Park. See more about that event here.

Don't have kids? No problem! Harmonica's also returning to Jersey City on Aug. 26 for a more adult version of Drag Queen Story Hour at White Eagle Hall (find out about that one here).
