Police say they roused a woman sleeping on the ground in front of a local bar and she took off running through traffic.

Hoboken police arrested a “heavily intoxicated” Hopatcong woman after she allegedly created a drunken disturbance in traffic and kicked a police officer on Sunday afternoon.

Police reported that an officer found the woman sleeping on the ground in front of Wicked Wolf Tavern on Sinatra Drive around 5:21 p.m. When the officer approached the woman to check on her, she allegedly stood up and dashed into the bar.

She then ran back outside and began running in and out of traffic, police said.
