We are going to use a lite case study approach and discuss Green Complete Streets as a way to understand how to use various media tools to support implementation of neighborhood plans that provide pedestrians, bikers and vehicles balanced access and safe passage while also integrating healthier Green Infrastructure (Rain Gardens & Smart Tree Pits) into our streetscapes.
The goal is be able to offer important feedback to our planning officials, e.g., Environmental Commission, City Council, Neighborhood Association, etc. Working with media tools can assist in that regard and local media organizations like The Hudson Reporter are eager to hear from the community in support of Neighborhood Sustainability Agendas. Please join this grassroots gathering and learn how to become part of the editorial voice of your community.
Come around 7pm to socialize a bit and we will be serving coffee.
