Returning to work after having a baby can be stressful, upsetting and overwhelming all at once. Mothers contending with fears and tears about leaving the baby for the day can benefit from interacting with other mothers in similar situations.

With its first event for working moms, Hoboken Mommies delivers help and support for women facing these challenges in a social environment where they can find support as well as seek the advice of experts in both the mommy and baby fields.

WhoHoboken Mommies, a social networking organization and Website that delivers child care and health information, events and support activities to mothers.

What: Our Working Moms Social. The discussion moderators will be a pediatrician from St. Joseph’s Pediatric Care Center along with Mary Vogt, our Pilates expert from Harmony Pilates. Both are local Hoboken businesses. Working mothers or mothers who will be returning to work are invited and will be entered for several prize raffles.  

When: April 4, 2012; 7:00 p.m.

Where: Hartshorn Portraiture’s Loft Studio

            Hoboken, N.J.

            (in the Monroe Center).
