We’re fast approaching kitten season, when Liberty Humane will be inundated with young, vulnerable kittens that often need specialized care. You can make a difference and save lives! Learn how to become a foster parent by attending one of our information sessions.
Every year the shelter takes in orphaned kittens who just aren't strong enough to survive unless they're placed in a foster home.
These kittens range from a few days old to a few weeks of age. Some may need round the clock care and bottle feeding, while others simply need a safe place for their immune systems to grow.
Liberty Humane Society volunteers will be holding a seminar that will teach and encourage individuals who are potentially interested in becoming foster parents about how to care for these kittens. We will have heartwarming stories from current foster parents and demonstrations on how to handle tiny kittens.
