Sabor de HoLa

The Hoboken Dual Language Charter School presents Sabor de HoLa at the Elks Lodge in Hoboken on Tuesday, May 17th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Join us for evening of the area's finest Latin American and Spanish flavors! Sample red and white wines, savor tapas, bid during our silent auction, dance to the music, and help raise the necessary funding of $150,000 for the school's new classrooms, currently being built at the Boys and Girls Club, located at 123 Jefferson Street.  It is sure to be an evening to remember as we help the newest of Hoboken’s charter schools.

Dine: 
Savor delicious  tapas from our local Latin American and Spanish restaurants; empanadas, ceviche, croquetas, ropa vieja, pollo con mole, tamales, taquitos, and tres leches cupcakes, are just a few of the delicacies you will enjoy. Featured restaurants include: Charritos,  Son Cubano, Zafra, La Isla, Biggie's Clam Bar, The Cheese Store, Dino & Harry's, Harvest Cuisine, M2 Desserts, The Little Grocery, Bin 14, Mikie Squared Bar & Grill, The Clinton Social, Madison Bar & Grill, City Bistro, and Teak on the Hudson.

Wine:
Taste and learn about the wines from Spain, Argentina, and Chile, or enjoy a Mojito, Margarita, flute of Sangria, or a signature “HoLatini”, being mixed at the bar.  Made possible by: The Turtle Club, Eat Drink Hoboken, Bull Dogg Gin, Hacienda Vieja Tequila, Charlie Massie Wines, and East L.A.

Music:
The evening wouldn't be complete with out the the sounds and beat of latin music. Enjoy the live entertainment, featuring 4-piece Cuban son & salsa band Grupo Irék that will make this event to remember.
