Solar Panel Installation Workshop

Now local Hudson County homeowners who want to green their homes can get in on the action.

Stevens Institute of Technology and the Empowerhouse solar decathlon team is holding a FREE workshop for the community to instruct homeowners about the how-to's for installing solar panels in their homes and taking advantage of tax incentives.

Speakers will include Ron Reisman from New Jersey's Clean Energy program, Andres Salas from Renewable and Energy Solutions PSE&G and representatives from Stevens Institute of Technology and Parsons The New School for Design.

The speakers will introduce workshop participants to technical and economic details necessary to understand and evaluate grid-connected photovoltaic installations in their homes.
