Fire in Hoboken Senior Apartment Building Injures Several Residents

Two residents sent to hospital; Cause of blaze is still under investigation.

A fire at a senior high-rise apartment building in Hoboken on Saturday sent two residents to the hospital and injured several others.

The fire – which took place at Columbian Towers on Bloomfield Street around 8 a.m. – injured 15 residents, including a firefighter who suffered second-degree burns, according to city officials.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
