Five Staffers Fired After Video Surfaces: Teacher Treats Toddler 'Roughly'
WATCH: A cellphone video allegedly shows a teacher at a Hoboken Montessori school aggressively handling a toddler.
Five employees at a Hoboken Montessori school have been fired after a cellphone video of a teacher aggressively handling a toddler surfaced.
The video, which was shot from a high-rise window above the Apple Montessori School in Hoboken, shows one of the teachers grabbing a23-month-old girl and “roughly” attempting to put a hat on her head, according to NBC Philadelphia.
The school released a statement about the firings:

“The director and assistant director of the location, who had possession of the video on June 4, 2015, have been terminated for their mishandling of this incredibly serious situation. A teacher and a second teacher’s aide that were present for the incident have also been terminated.”
