New Flood Advisory Issued For Monday In Hudson County: Here's When
The National Weather Service issued an advisory for 4 hours on Monday, saying 1-2 feet of flooding could occur in Hudson County.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Just as they did on Sunday, the National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for four hours on Monday.
The advisory covers 1-5 p.m. on Oct. 3. According to the NWS, at high tide, areas near water could experience "1-2 feet of inundation," or flooding.
The advisory applies to Hudson County, Manhattan, and eastern Essex and Union counties.

"Minor flooding may also be possible with the high tide cycle Monday afternoon," the NWS said.
High tide is at 3:23 p.m. Monday.

"Minor flooding is expected in vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding," the NWS said in its alert.
They warned, "Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property."
